FATHER ABEL’S COLUMN – APRIL 29TH 2018

I am happy to let you know that Bishop DiMarzio will be visiting our Parish on Sunday, May 6th. He will celebrate the 10:30am Mass. I am very excited about his visit and I know you will make him feel at home. At the 10:30am Mass with the Bishop, we will have our annual crowning of the Blessed Mother with the first communicants form our Academy. Bishop DiMarzio will also be blessing any parents who are expecting the birth of a child. If you are a couple expecting or if you know anyone expecting a child, please call the rectory and leave your name and number so we can plan accordingly.

You may have noticed or heard at Mass this weekend that we have a new addition, the singing of a bell with the help of an instrument. I hope you like it and get used to it.
Enjoy it!

I thank you for the attention and support you gave me last weekend as I introduced to you the 2018 Annual Catholic Appeal. Our goal again is $151,724. As I mentioned last week I am asking those of you who did not support the appeal last year to please consider making a pledge of $100. That comes out to $12.50 a month from now to December. With your help, we will reach our goal!

Thanks for your support.
