Welcome to St. Sebastian Church

“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened and I will give you rest”
-Gospel of St. Matthew 11:28

We, the parish community of St. Sebastian, for over 100 years have celebrated out common faith and ethnic diversity and have lived the Gospel in Woodside. United in the Holy Spirit, in prayer, and nourished by the Eucharist, we server others as we foster the love and truth which Jesus Christ teaches. Building on what has gone before, through Word and Sacrament, we are committed to Evangelization, Stewardship, and Welcome.  In the spirit of Jesus, we seek to put our love into action as we challenge others to join us on our journey of faith

Capital Campaign: Help Repair Our Church

This week during all Masses, parishioners will be invited to participate in a brief in-pew or online survey to share their thoughts as part of a Campaign Planning Study. The likely objectives, or funding elements, of this potential Campaign are significant capital renovations to the Church building include the replacement of our Roof, Brick Repair and Repointing throughout the building, and significant Deferred Maintenance to preserve the church’s usability, accessibility, and cultural significance. This repair work is likely to cost more than $3 million and must be addressed as soon as possible as there are visible signs of deterioration throughout the Church building, both interior and exterior, and failure to address in a timely manner will result in additional issues and cost.

It is important that we receive as much feedback as possible from our parish families to plan accordingly and effectively for the future.
