Today we begin a New Liturgical Year on this First Sunday of Advent. This season of Advent focuses our attention on the many comings of Christ into our lives and hearts. Christ wants to make a home in our hearts. We pray that we will always welcome Him each day of our lives.

A special thank you to those of you who made a contribution to our Thanksgiving food drive! Because of your generosity we were able to feed many families who are less fortunate than others during this Holiday season. God has given us so much! When we give from our hearts, we truly receive so much in return.

Now we switch our focus to our toy drive that has already begun. Please do not forget that the toys need to be dropped off by next Sunday December 10th.
