The Church is now in the season of Ordinary Time. The readings at mass will focus in on the public ministry of Jesus. We will reflect on his teachings and miracles as ways of deepening our relationship with the Lord. The Church will be in the season of ordinary time until Ash Wednesday, which is March 1st.

Friday, January 20th, we will have a special mass in honor of St. Sebastian. There will be a music concert at 6:30pm followed by a special solemn Mass at 7:00pm. A dessert reception will follow after Mass in the vestibule of the Church.

On Saturday, January 21, I will celebrate a Memorial Mass for one of our Parishioners, Paulina Gonzalez, at 10:45am. She was an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and a volunteer in our Pastoral Out Reach Office.

Finally, congrats to the St. Sebastian boys swim team for their 8 consecutive CYO undefeated championship! Keep up the great work. We at St Sebastian are so proud of you.
