I wanted to share the great news with you that I received money from a couple in our Indian community towards a statue of Mother Teresa of Calcutta! The statue is about 5 feet and I have an idea as to where we can place it. (I will let you know soon Mother Teresa will be canonized a saint in Rome on Sunday, September 4th. I am inviting all of our parishioners to a special Mass in honor of St. Mother Teresa on Tuesday September 6th at 7pm in the Church. At this Mass we will bless the statue of St. Mother Teresa! A light reception will follow in the vestibule of the Church.

I am also looking for money in hopes of getting a statue of St. John Paul II for our church as well. Anyone interested in making a donation is asked to let me know as soon as possible so I can make future arrangements.
