We are finalizing our planning for our annual Corpus Christi Procession that will take place on Sunday, June 3rd. Please note that we are changing the time of the Mass and procession to 6:00pm, Mass will be at 6:00pm followed by the procession with the Blessed Sacrament around the streets of Woodside. Please mark it on your calendar. More information in the weeks ahead.

Next weekend we will have the in pew commitment for the 2018 Annual Catholic Appeal. Remember our goal is $151,724. I am relying on the support of our parishioners to help our parish make its goal. Please note there are envelopes available in the back if the Church.

I am happy to inform you that Fr. Carlos Velásquez, who was with us here for three years has told me that Bishop DiMarzio has appointed him pastor of Mary Gate of Heaven parish in Ozone park. I am very proud of him and I know he will be a great Pastor and Shepherd. Please keep him in prayer as he begins his new ministry.
